The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Fighters Party

Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a diverse cast of characters, and a thrilling plot featuring divine entities, demons, and malevolent powers increasing in strength within the city.

Note: Spoilers for Episode 3 of the new season follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

The third episode ended with a major cliffhanger and revealed the first table of adventurers who will branch out from the central cast to undertake their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.

This warrior group consists of the determined fighter (played by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

Given 13 cast members, it was obvious from the beginning that keeping everyone at the same party would be impossible.

This explains, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, intertwining the individual narratives before branching into three distinct groups: Warriors, Planners, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

Per the DM, the warrior group is for participants who are drawn to a traditionally charged battle-oriented gameplay experience where diplomatic options are rare.

Upon first impression, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might look out of place, but the actions of episode 3 demonstrate why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

First, the group knows exactly where to proceed after a brutal opening clash with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose demise kicked off the story’s plot—used The Crow Keepers for his own means, breaking into the secret base, attacking the character, and swiping all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

The antagonist then cleared his obligations and ran away to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the city, with Cyd close behind.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each member has a individual motive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and trusted friend, seeks vengeance.
  • The adventurer knows the region and advises that it is a hostile place.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having resisted his house’s orders to eliminate the target and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their position as important members in the influential clan could assist the party reach places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The fighter pledged a life debt to The savior for his deliverance and will now accompany him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are hunted by the powers that govern the city for a multiple motives, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and Wicander defied the powerful family and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by the family.

This means them few options but to journey toward the northern region in pursuit of the traitor.

What’s Next?

From the recent installment’s Cooldown, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around the following episode, leaving the rest of the cast members to assemble the Seekers and Schemers tables.

Viewers can expect discovering which characters will be in which group in the story’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
